Pirelli Stadium will host Tuesday’s League One game between Burton Albion and Wigan Athletic, the two bottom-table sides. The Brewers aim to escape the danger zone and their current form is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of the midweek clash. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team, but forward Josh Gordon is pushing for a rare start.
The Latics, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth. Considering that important forward Charlie Wyke missed the match through suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts, who have been showing signs of improvement of late. Callum Lang is widely expected to replace Wyke in the starting XI.
