Stade de la Beaujoire will host Saturday’s football game between Nantes and Nice. Les Canaris suffered a dip in form, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last four league matches and it is no surprise the odds for away win have been dropping. Both Quentin Merlin and Fabien Centonze are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
Les Aiglons, on the other hand, are surprisingly sitting in second place in the standings, only one point behind French powerhouse PSG. Nice recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Toulouse at the weekend and we predict that they will take advantage of Nantes’ poor form as well. As before, the visitors will rely on their rock-solid defence as they have conceded only four goals in the Ligue 1 so far this term. Youcef Atal misses the match through suspension, while fellow defender Jean-Clair Todibo misses out with injury.

Dante is a left-footed defender who was born in Salvador, Brazil on 18 October, 1983. The 189-cm-tall centre back, who is capable of playing as a left back as well, started his senior career at Juventude. After making 53 appearances for the club between 2002 and 2004 he moved to Ligue 1 outfit Lille.
He played for Belgian sides Charleroi and Standard from 2006 to 2009 and on 27 December, 2008 he signed a contract with Borussia M’gladbach for an undisclosed fee. After impressing with the Fohlen in the 2011/2012 Bundesliga campaign he moved to Bayern Munich at the end of the season and it has to be noted that he scored three goals in 83 league appearances for FCB.
In 2015 he signed a contract with fellow Bundesliga team Wolfsburg and he played 24 league games for the Wolves in the 2015/2016 season. In 2013 he won the Champions League trophy with Bayern Munich and he lifted the FIFA Confederations Cup with Brazil the same year.

Founded on April 21, 1943 Nantes is a professional football club that compete in French Ligue 1. Les Canaris are considered one of the most famous French clubs and they had a lot of success during the sixties and the seventies. Nantes won their first Ligue 1 title in the 1964/1965 season and 36 years later (2000/2001) they clinched their eighth (last) domestic trophy.
