There will be fireworks when Aston Villa and Arsenal lock horns at Villa Park in the closing match of Saturday’s program. The Villans aim to keep their 100% record at home intact and their brilliant display in a 1-0 win over star-studded Man City is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of the visit of Arsenal. Barring any fresh injury worries, Unai Emery is unlikely to make changes to the team that outplayed the Citizens. All Bertrand Traore, Kortney Hause, Tyrone Mings, and Emiliano Buendia continue to miss out with injuries.
The Gunners, on the other hand, are on a six-game winning run in all competitions, but given their poor defensive display in a 4-3 win over Luton, we are tempted to put our money on the in-form hosts this time out. Oleksandr Zinchenko should be recalled to the starting XI, while all Takehiro Tomiyasu, Fabio Vieira, Thomas Partey, and Jurrien Timber remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Leon Bailey):
Leon Bailey is a Phoenix All Stars Academy product who was born in Kingston on August 9, 1997. The Jamaica international played for the likes of FC Liefering and Trencin during his youth career, but he made his senior debut with Belgian side Genk in August, 2015 in a 3-1 win over Saint-Truiden.
The pacey winger quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Belgian top flight, but he scored only 8 goals in 56 appearances for Genk from 2015 to 2017. In the winter of 2017 Leon Bailey signed a deal with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €20 million. Bailey is a left-footed footballer, but he is capable of playing on both sides of the field.
The Bayer Leverkusen winger made one appearance for Jamaica U23 team, but he eventually refused to represent the Reggae Boyz at senior level as he has personal problems with the association. It has to be noted that Leon Bailley scored 12 goals in 34 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in the 2017/2018 Bundesliga season.

Arsenal are regarded as one of the best English teams. The Gunners have won 12 FA Cup trophies, 13 league titles and two League Cups, but they have yet to lift the Champions League trophy. Arsene Wenger’s team were on the verge of beating Barcelona in the Champions League final back in 2006, but they eventually failed to win the prestigious title.
Arsenal used to play their homes at Highbury, but in 2006 they moved to the Emirates Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 60,260. The Gunners won their last Premier League trophy back in 2004, with the capital club going through the season without a single loss. The likes of Thierry Henry, Denis Bergkamp and Robert Pires were part of the team back then, but Arsenal have not won the league trophy ever since.
Arsenal was founded by Woolwich munitions workers as Dial Square back in 1886. It is well known that Tottenham Hotspur are Arsenal’s fiercest rivals and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals meet in the North London derby.
