Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Buoyed by a 4-1 win over Hibernian, Celtic will look to cement top position in the standings when they take on Kilmarnock in the Premiership round 17. The Hoops have been scoring goals for fun of late and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Kyogo Furuhashi is pushing for a start, while all Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate, Liel Abada, and James McCarthy remain in the recovery room.
The Killie, on the other hand, did well to put an end to their three-match winless run, with the team beating Aberdeen thanks to David Watson’s late goal in midweek. Kilmarnock, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against Celtic, who have been producing excellent displays in December. As for the home side, both Innes Cameron and Kyle Magennis are out of contention with injuries, while Rory McKenzie is pushing for a start.

Fellow Ayrshire club Ayr United are considered the Killie’s bitterest rivals. The two teams have been facing each other in the Ayrshire derby since September 1910.
Dark blue is the dominant colour of the club’s home kit, while Kilmarnock footballers wear yellow and blues kit when playing on the travels.
