Friday’s football game between Bristol City and Leeds United will open round 30 of the 2023/2024 Championship campaign. The Robins have drawn each of their last three games in all competitions and, no doubt, they are eager to start a winning run in February. Experienced forward Nakhi Wells should keep his place up front as a lone forward after finding the net in the last league match, while all Mark Sykes, Kal Naismith, Rob Atkinson, and Ayman Benarous are out of contention with injuries.
The Whites, on the other hand, are on a four-game winning run in the English second tier. Leeds United aim to move closer to the automatic promotion berth, but beating Bristol City at Ashton Gate Stadium is easier said than done. Left-back Junior Firpo returns to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the FA Cup draw with Coventry City, while all Karl Darlow, Pascal Struijk, and Stuart Dallas remain in the recovery room. Nathan Baker is a product of Aston Villa football academy. The left-footed defender played 115 games for Aston Villa in the league and it has to be noted that he scored only goal for the club during his spell at Villa Park. Nathan Baker is used as both centre-back and left-back and the 189-cm-tall footballer is very good in the air.
Nathan Baker was born in Worcester, England on April 23, 1991 and he currently plays for Bristol City in the Championship. After ending his loan spell with the Robins, he signed a permanent deal with the club on July 28, 2017 for an undisclosed fee. Nathan Baker has yet to make his debut for England national team, but he has three caps for England U21 team.
Nathan Baker made his debut for the under-21 squad against Iceland back in 2011. The English footballer has a contract with Bristol City which expires on June 30, 2021.

Leeds United is one of the clubs that won the FA Cup. The Whites outplayed Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition back in 1972, but they clinched the League Cup trophy as well. Leeds United faced the Gunners in the 1967/1968 League Cup final and it has to be noted that Terry Cooper scored the winner for the Whites.
Leeds play their home games at Elland Road and the capacity of the stadium is 37,914. The club was founded in 1919 and they have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies ever since (1968/1969, 1973/1974, 1991/1992). Leeds United made it to the Champions League final in 1975, but they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the title clash.
