Bayern Munich will be aiming to build on a hard-fought 2-1 win over Leipzig when they take on Freiburg in the Bundesliga round 24. The Bavarians showed character in the triumph over the Red Bulls, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to melt Bayer Leverkusen’s advantage in the Bundesliga table. A man to watch in the away team will be Harry Kane, who scored a brace at the weekend, while defender Matthijs de Ligt misses out through suspension.
All Noussair Mazraoui, Kingsley Coman, and Bouna Sarr remain in the recovery room. Christian Streich’s men, on the other hand, produced an under-par performance in a 2-1 loss to Augsburg and given their poor form in February, away win should be considered. Kane is a modern striker, who is extremely dangerous in the opposition box, but it was some outstanding goals from distance as well as link-up play with teammates that earned him an excellent reputation in world football. Kane is expected to lead both Tottenham and England in years to come, that is if he can resist the lure of top European clubs that continue to cast admiring glances his way.
