All eyes will be on Estadio de la Ceramica when Villarreal and Valencia square off against each other in the Primera Division round 29. The Yellow Submarine failed to impress in the Europa League tie with Olympique Marseille, but they must be high on confidence following a come-from-behind win over Real Betis. Alberto Moreno serves a one-game ban, while all Raul Albiol, Alfonso Pedraza, Ramon Terrats, Juan Foyth, and Denis Suarez should miss out with injuries.
Los Che, on the other hand, defeated Getafe thanks to Hugo Duro’s goal at the weekend, but beating Villarreal on the road is easier said than accomplished. The two sides seem to be evenly matched at the moment and we predict that they are going to play out a draw this weekend. Barring any fresh injury worries, Ruben Baraja is unlikely to make too changes to the team that defeated los Azulones at Estadio de Mestalla. Hugo Guillamon is banned for the match.

Aissa Mandi is a product of Reims’ youth school. After playing eight matches for Reims II in the 2009/2010 season, he started playing for the first team in 2010. Mandi made his Reims debut against Le Havre on 20 August, 2010 and he remained at Stade Auguste Delaune until 30 June, 2016, when he decided to join Spanish side Real Betis.
The Algeria international, who was born in Chalons-en-Champagne, France, signed a five-year contract with los Beticos which expires on 30 June, 2021. His main position is centre back, but he is capable of playing as a full back as well. The right-footed defender made his Algeria debut on 5 March, 2014 and he helped the Algerian national team keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Slovenia.
Mandi impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, but he scored his first goal for Algeria in a 3-3 draw with Ethiopia in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He represented Algeria at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as well.

Founded on March 18, 1919, Valencia FC are a Spanish football club that compete in La Liga. Los Che play their home games at Estadio de Mestalla, the stadium which was opened back in May, 1923. The capacity of the venue is 50,000. Seeing that bats are quite common in Valencia, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Bats.
Valencia made it to the Champions League final on two occasions (2000, 2001), but they were beaten in the title games by Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen respectively. The Spanish club, though, did well to win the UEFA Cup title in the 2003/2004 season, with the team beating Marseille in the final of the competition.
A number of top-class footballers were part of the club in the past, with the likes of Pablo Aimar, Ruben Baraja, David Albelda, Santiago Canizares, John Carew and Gaizka Mendieta all playing for the Estadio de Mestalla outfit.
