Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
All eyes will be on Philips Stadion when PSV and AZ Alkmaar lock horns in the Eredivisie derby on Saturday afternoon. The league leaders faced no difficulties in a 2-0 win over Excelsior in midweek and they are seen as favourites to beat the Cheese Farmers as well. Barring any fresh injury worries, Peter Bosz is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Rotterdammers.
AZ Alkmaar, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-0 defeat to Heracles, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on PSV. When the two teams met at AFAS Stadion earlier this term PSV recorded a routine 4-0 win over AZ and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Both Addai and van Bommel are pushing for a start as duo Goes – Belic failed to impress in the embarrassing loss to Heracles.
Highlighted Player (Jordy Clasie):
Jordy Clasie is a product of the Feyenoord youth academy who plays for AZ Alkmaar as a midfielder. His main position is defensive midfield, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both central midfielder and centre-back as well.

After ending his second spell with Feyenoord, the Dutch footballer joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2019. He made his AZ debut in the Eredivisie on August 4, 2019 in a 4-0 win over Fortuna Sittard.
