Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Saturday’s football game at Estadio El Alcoraz pits together Huesca and Racing Santander, the two teams who defeated Elche and Mirandes respectively at the weekend. Los Azulgranas are eager to avoid relegation to Segunda B and, no doubt, the 3-0 triumph over Elche gave them a confidence boost. Midfielder Javi Mier is pushing for a start, while defender Ivan Martos is banned for the match.
Los Racinguistas, on the other hand, are eyeing a place in the playoffs. As the visitors will go for a victory as well, we are tempted to place our bets on both teams to score. Barring any fresh injury worries, Jose Lopez is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Mirandes, except one as forward Marco Sangalli is banned for the match. It has to be noted that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their last seven meetings in the Spanish second tier.
Highlighted Team (Huesca):
Huesca are a Spanish club that compete in La Liga, the Spanish top flight. The club was originally founded in 1910, but in 1940 it was renamed Union Deportiva. In 1956 the club disappeared due to financial problems, but four years later Sociedad Deportiva Huesca was born. Huesca are well known for their blaugrana colors as their founding members were Barcelona fans.
The club welcome their rivals at El Alcoraz and it has to be noted that the capacity of the stadium is 5,500. Despite the fact that El Alcoraz can hold up to 5,500 people in December 2014 7,600 spectators watched the game between Huesca and Barcelona. Huesca will make their first ever appearance in Primera Division in the 2018/2019 season.
The likes of Leo Franco, Luis Sastre and Ruben Castro are some of the most notable footballers that played for Huesca. Real Zaragoza are considered Huesca’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in Derbi Aragones.
