Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Following a 2-2 draw with Almeria, Racing Santander will look to record their first win of the season when they welcome Eibar to their Estadio El Sardinero on Friday evening. Los Racinguistas dropped a two-goal advantage in the season opener, but given their attacking potential, we predict that Jose Lopez’s men are going to find the net in the round 2 clash. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Los Armeros, on the other hand, defeated Castellon 1-0 in their opener, with Bautista Jon scoring the only goal of the match. The Basques, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. When the two teams met in a friendly last month, they played out a goalless draw, which goes in favour of our earlier prediction. Barring any fresh injury worries, Joseba Etxeberria is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Castellon.
