Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Following a 2-2 draw with Ferrol, Malaga will be aiming to record their first win of the season when they take on Mirandes on Matchday 2. Los Boquerones have big ambitions for the 2024/2025 Segunda Division campaign and seeing that the club chiefs have signed the likes of Alex Pastor, Luismi Sanchez, Sergio Castel, Julen Lobete, and Roko Baturina (loan) in the summer transfer window, home win should be considered. Midfielder Rodriguez remains on the sidelines with a thigh problem.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, defeated Cordoba 1-0 in their opener, with Alberto Reina scoring the only goal of the match. As Mirandes produce much better showings at home than on the travels, we are tempted to place our bets on the newcomers this time out. Sergio Gabriel is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the opening match of the season.
