Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Genoa will be looking to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Monza when they face Verona in the Serie A round 3. The Rossoblu made a promising start to the season and it has to be noted that they shared the spoils with reigning champions Inter in their first home game of the process. Even though the likes of Ankeye, Matturro, Norton-Cuffy, Miretti, Zanoli, and Bani are out of contention, home win should be considered as Genoa have been producing fine displays of late.
The Mastini, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Juventus and seeing that Genoa are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Suat Serdar and Juan Manuel Cruz should be the only absentees in the away team.
