Juventus will look to kickstart their Champions League campaign in style when they take on PSV at their Allianz Stadium. As Juve failed to turn their dominance into victory in a goalless draw with Empoli on Saturday, Thiago Motta could opt to make changes to the starting XI. Fit-again midfielder Kheprhen Thuram is pushing for a start, while both Arkadiusz Milik and Francisco Conceicao remain in the recovery room. Teenage midfielder Vasilije Adzic is rated doubtful for Tuesday’s clash.
PSV, on the other hand, continue where they left last season, with the team recording five routine wins in the new Eredivisie campaign. Peter Bosz’s troops, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from their Champions League opener. The good news for the Dutch champions is that experienced striker Luuk de Jong has overcome his minor injury.

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.

Juventus are considered one of the greatest European football clubs. The Bianconeri (The White and Blacks) have won two Champions League trophies (1985, 1996) and they did well to clinch three UEFA Cup titles (1977, 1990, 1993). The Italian giants have won 32 Serie A trophies and it is well known that a number of star players were part of Juve in the past.

The capacity of the stadium is 41,475. La Vechhia Signora (The Old Lady) is yet another nickname of the club. Juve’s biggest rivals are Torino and the two local rivals take on each other in the Turin derby.
