Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Allianz Riviera will host Wednesday’s Europa League game between Nice and Real Sociedad. Les Aiglons aim to build on a thrilling 8-0 win over St Etienne, but this match will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. A man to watch in the home team will be former Borussia Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko, who scored a brace against les Verts, while the likes of Laborde, Moffi, and Sanson remain in the recovery room.
The Basques, on the other hand, made a slow start to the new La Liga campaign and given their four-game winless run in the Spanish top flight, home win should be considered. Real Sociedad key player Mikel Oyarzabal returns to the starting XI, while the likes of Lopez, Mendez, Odriozola, Traore, and Zakharyan remain on the sidelines with injuries. Imanol Alguacil should stick to the 4-4-2 formation.
