Braga play host to Maccabi Tel Aviv at their Estadio Municipal de Braga in what is expected to be an interesting Primeira Liga game. The Reds proved their worth in a 3-0 win over Nacional and they are now on a quest to kickstart their Europa League campaign in style. The good news for the hosts is that defender Bright Arrey-Mbi is back from the domestic ban. As always, the opposition back-line should have Ricardo Horta at bay.
The Yellows, on the other hand, are on a nine-game winning run in all competitions. Maccabi Tel Aviv, though, will have a mountain to climb in Thursday’s clash as over the years Braga have turned their stadium into a real fortress. Midfielder Ido Shahar is a major doubt for the visiting team after limping off with injury in a 2-0 win over Ashod at the weekend.

Ricardo Horta is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Sporting Braga in Primeira Liga. Born in Sobreda, Portugal, on September 15, 1994, Ricardo Horta spent his youth career at Ginasio Corroios, Benfica, and Vitoria Setubal.
The 173-cm-tall winger continued playing for Setubal at the senior level, but he moved to Malaga in the summer of 2014, signing a five-year deal with the La Liga outfit. Ricardo Horta scored only one goal in 48 appearances for los Boquerones in the Spanish top flight before signing a loan deal with Braga. In July 2017, he signed a permanent contract with the Minhotos.
Ricardo Horta made his Primeira Liga debut against Rio Ave back in April 2013, during his spell with Vitoria Setubal. His primary position is left winger, but he is capable of producing good performances as a right winger as well. He made his Portugal debut in a 1-0 loss to Albania in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

The club’s fiercest rivals are Hapoel Tel-Aviv and they welcome their opponents at Netanya Stadium. The capacity of the venue is 13 610. The likes of Beitar Jerusalem Hapoel Be’er Sheva and Maccabi Haifa are considered Maccabi Tel Aviv’s bitter rivals as well. In 1969 the club won the AFC Champions League and they repeated the success two years later, beating Aliyat Al-Shorta in the final.
