Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Holstein Kiel and Mainz face each other at Holstein-Stadion in the opening match of Sunday’s program. The hosts aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Werder Bremen, with the team eyeing their only second win of the season, but they face a tough challenge against Mainz. Midfielder Magnus Knudsen is banned for the hosts, while the likes of Steven Skrzybski, Max Geschwill, Benedikt Pichler, Carl Johansson, Andu Kelati, and Colin Kleine-Bekel remain in the treatment room.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. As Mainz have been producing fine displays on the travels this term, managing to remain undefeated to date, we predict that they are going to seal the victory on the break. The likes of Andreas Hanche-Olsen, Maxim Leitsch, Danny da Costa, and Paul Nebel are out of contention with injuries for the visiting side.
