Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Club Brugge and Sporting CP square off against each other at Jan Breydel Stadion in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Tuesday’s program. Club Brugge are on a three-game winning run in all competitions and they are surely capable of making life difficult for the Portuguese champions in front of home fans. Attacker Christos Tzolis is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while defender Bjorn Meijer remains on the sidelines with injury.
The Lions, on the other hand, have been struggling in the Primeira Liga ever since head coach Ruben Amorim left the club. Considering that Viktor Gyokeres and Co. are on a three-game losing run in all competitions, we are tempted to put our money on the in-form hosts this time out. All Braganca, Goncalves, and Santos are injured for the visiting side, while defender Eduardo Quaresma is rated doubtful for the match.
