Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Benfica will look to extend their winning run to six games in all competitions when they take on Bologna in the Champions League round 6. The Eagles defeated Monaco on the road in their last game in the elite competition, but they do not want to stop now. As Bruno Lage should have a full squad to choose from for Wednesday’s clash, home win should definitely be considered.
Turkey midfielder Orkun Kokcu is back from the Primeira Liga ban. The Rossoblu, on the other hand, head into the Champions League game following a 2-2 draw with Juventus. Bologna have been showing signs of improvement of late, but seeing that Benfica have turned their Estadio da Luz into a real fortress, home win should be considered. All Aebischer, Cambiaghi, El Azzouzi, Lykogiannis, and Orsolini miss out with injuries, adding to their woes. The two sides meet for the first time in the Champions League.
Highlighted Player (Angel di Maria):
