Rayo Vallecano
Real Betis will be looking to build on a 2-1 win over Villarreal when they take on Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga round 18. Los Beticos have been showing signs of improvement of late and they are surely capable of matching los Vallecanos in front of home fans. Bear in mind, though, that former Osasuna forward Chimy Avila misses out through suspension following his sending-off in the Estadio de la Ceramica triumph.
The capital club, on the other hand, did well to hold star-studded Real Madrid to a 3-3 draw in the local derby, but given their four-game losing run at Estadio Benito Villamarin, we are tempted to put our money on the in-form hosts this time out. Both Raul de Tomas and Pelayo Fernandez should miss out with injuries for the visiting side. As always, the opposition back-line should have Isi at bay.

Born on the 7th of February, 1994, Rui Silva is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Granada in LaLiga. The Maia born started his football journey playing Futsal before eventually joining the youth setup at Maia FC in 2006. After six years of development, he got recruited by C.D Nacional and signed a professional contract with the club in 2012.
Two years later, on the 26th of January, 2014, he made his professional debut in a Portuguese Super Cup group game against Leixoes SC and kept a clean sheet. The 6ft 3-inch tall goalkeeper went on to make over 50 appearances for the club before leaving for Spain in 2017 to join his current club Granada FC on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
Additionally, the 25-year-old has represented Portugal at the youth level, winning his standalone cap for its under-21 team in a friendly against England on the 13th of November, 2014.

Rayo Vallecano is a Spanish football club from the Valleas neighbourhood in Madrid and are founded in the year 1924. The club is playing in the Primera Division since 2011 after being in active in the lower divisions for a longer period of time. Rayo Vallecano currently plays it’s home games in the Teresa Rivero Stadium which is also known as the Nuevo Vallecas stadium and holds a capacity of 15 500 seats. The Nuevo Vallecas stadium is one of the smallest ones in the Primera Division. The club colors of Rayo Vallecano are white and red and is also known as Los Vallecanos. Rayo Vallecano is known for it’s ultra’s which are radical left winged political sided.
In the clubs history Rayo Vallecano never won any big prizes. The biggest achievement was in 2000 when the club qualified for the UEFA Cup after winning the Fair Play spot. Rayo Vallecano was one of the biggest surprises in Europe that season and even managed to get to the quarter finals where Rayo got eliminated by Deportivo Alaves.
