Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Buoyed by the Taca de Portugal win over Farense, Benfica will be aiming to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Famalicao in the Primeira Liga round 18. The Eagles are on a three-game winning run in all competitions and, as a result, odds for home win have been dropping. Argentina ace Angel Di Maria is unlikely to feature against Famalicao after limping off with injury in the midweek triumph, with Zeki Amdouni being ready to step up. Center-forward Vangelis Pavlidis is pushing for a start as well.
The visitors, on the other hand, failed to win the previous seven league matches, which is yet another reason why we are going to bet on the title-chasing hosts. In their last meeting in Lisbon, Benfica recorded a routine 2-0 win over Famalicao, that head into Friday’s clash without injured duo Yassir Zabiri – Ivan Zlobin.
