Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Fenerbahce will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Anderlecht in the Europa League knockout stages, first leg. Fenerbahce are seen as hot favourites to win Thursday’s clash, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Ismail Yuksek and Caglar Soyuncu are unlikely to feature in the first leg after limping off with injuries in a 2-0 win over Alanyaspor. Midfielder Bright Osayi-Samuel is back from suspension.
The Belgian outfit, on the other hand, defeated Antwerp 2-0 at the weekend, with the team putting an end to their three-game winless run. Anderlecht, though, are not regarded as good travellers and given their poor display in a 2-0 loss at Plzen, we are tempted to bet on Jose Mourinho’s troops. The good news for the visiting side is that defender Moussa N’Diaye returns from a domestic ban.

Diego Carlos Santos Silva is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Nantes as a defender. His main position is centre-back and his preferred foot is right. Diego Carlos began his youth career at America-SP and in 2010 he moved to Desportivo Brasil. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Sao Paulo, the 185-cm-tall defender returned to Desportivo Brasil.
However, he made his first-team debut with Madureira during his spell with the club (2014). In 2014 Diego Carlos signed a contract with Portuguese club Estoril Praia and he scored two goals in 39 appearances for the Primeira Liga club. It has to be noted, though, that he played for Porto B (on loan) in the 2014/2015 season.
Diego Carlos moved to French club Nantes in the summer of 2016 and you should bear in mind that he quickly established himself as a first-team regular with les Canaris. The Brazilian footballer scored two goals in 34 appearances for Nantes in the 2016/2017 Ligue 1 campaign. His contract with the Ligue 1 side expires on June 20, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Anderlecht):

Founded on 27 May, 1908, Anderlecht are considered one of the oldest clubs in Belgium. The Paars-wit are the dominant force in the Belgian Pro League and in 2014 they won their 33rd domestic trophy. Anderlecht did remarkably well to win the UEFA Super Cup title in 1983, with the team defeating Benfica in the final of the competition.
The Belgian outfit recorded a 1-0 over the Eagles in the first leg, with the two teams playing out a 1-1 draw in the return leg. Anderlecht play their home games at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, the venue that was opened in 1917. The stadium was renovated in 1983 and current capacity of Anderlecht’s home ground is 28 063.
The Paars-wit have long-standing rivalries with the likes of Standard Liege and Club Brugge, whilst FC Brussels were considered the club’s bitter opponents in the past. The likes of Besnik Hasi, Lucas Biglia, Filip De Wilde and Romelu Lukaku are some of Anderlecht’s notable players.
