Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Saturday’s football game at Stade de le Beujoire pits together Nantes and Lille, the two teams with totally different ambitions for the season finale. Les Canaris are desperate to secure yet another Ligue 1 survival, while les Dogues are eyeing a spot in the Champions League. Nantes, though, have suffered a dip in form, losing four of their last five league matches and that is the main reason why home win should not be considered. Douglas Augusto is a major doubt after picking up a knock in a 1-0 loss to Strasbourg, while influential forward Moses Simon should be recalled to the starting XI.
Bruno Genesio’s men survived relegation-threatened Montpellier in the last league match, with the team keeping their Champions League hopes alive. Les Dogues, though, head into Saturday’s game following the Champions League encounter with Borussia Dortmund and that is the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.

Highlighted Team (Nantes):

Founded on April 21, 1943 Nantes is a professional football club that compete in French Ligue 1. Les Canaris are considered one of the most famous French clubs and they had a lot of success during the sixties and the seventies. Speaking of the club’s European success, les Canaris did well to make it to the Champions League semis in 1996, but Italian giants Juventus proved to be a big catch for the French outfit. Nantes welcome their rivals at La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau and the capacity of the stadium is 38.004.
The likes of Vahid Halilhodzic, Adel Selimi, Michel Der Zakarian, Viorel Moldovan, Mario Yepes, Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps, Claude Makelele, Christian Karembeu and Dimitri Payet are the notable footballers who played for the club in the past. Nantes are well known for their yellow jerseys and that is the reason why they are nicknamed the Canaries (les Canaris).
