Our prediction for this Championship match:
Blackburn Rovers will be aiming to put an end to their four-game losing run when they face Middlesbrough in a an-eagerly awaited Championship game. The Riversiders have suffered a dip in form and they must be low on confidence following four consecutive league defeats. Owen Beck is a major doubt after picking up a knock in a 1-0 loss to Portsmouth, with Ryan Hedges likely to step up.
The Boro, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Oxford United. Middlesbrough, though, have been struggling on the travels of late, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. As for the away team, both goalkeepers Sol Brynn and Seny Dieng are out of contention, while duo Dael Fry – George Edmundson is rated doubtful for Thursday’s clash. All Luke Ayling, Darragh Lenihan, Alex Bangura and Ben Doak remain in the treatment room.
