Chicago Fire will be aiming to make amends for a 2-1 loss to New York Red Bulls when they face Inter Miami in an eagerly-awaited MLS game. Chicago Fire will continue relying on former La Liga ace Jonathan Bamba, while Samuel Rogers is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s clash after limping off with injury against the Metros. Fellow defender Omar Gonzalez is widely expected to replace Rogers in the starting XI.
The Herons, on the other hand, aim to overtake Columbus Crew in top position. As Argentina superstar Leo Messi has found his goal-scoring touch of late, we are tempted to place our bets on the visiting side. Chicago Fire were founded on October 8, 1997 and one year later they won the MLS Cup by beating D.C. United (2-0) in the title game.
