Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Following back-to-back defeats to Northampton and Birmingham, Peterborough will look to get back on course when they take on Stockport in the League One Round 43. The Posh are safe for now, but they can’t afford any complacency in the season finale. Anyhow, their display in the EFL Trophy win over Birmingham City is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Stockport’s visit. Defender Rio Adebisi continues to miss out with injury, while duo Fernandez – Mothersille remains doubtful.
The Hatters, on the other hand, look unstoppable at the moment, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive league win. As the promotion-chasing visitors want this win more than the bottom-table hosts, we are tempted to place our bets on Dave Challinor’s troops. In the first half of the season, Stockport defeated Peterborough 2-1 at Edgeley Park, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered.
Highlighted Team (Peterborough):

Founded in 1934, Peterborough United are a professional club that competes in the League One. The Posh play their home games at London Road Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 15,314. Peterborough’s home colour is blue, whilst the colour of their away kit is blue. The Posh have the third kit as well where yellow and black are the dominant colours.
Peterborough United’s biggest success came in the 1964/1965 when the club booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Chelsea, though, proved to be a big catch for the Posh, beating them 5-1 in London. It has to be noted that Peterborough United made it to the Football League Cup semis in the 1965/1966 season, with the team losing to WBA in the two-legged tie.
The likes of Cambridge United and Northampton Town are considered the club’s main rivals. The Posh have built a rivalry with Huddersfield Town, with fans seeing MK Dons as rivals as well.
