Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt were supposed to face each other in the Bundesliga at the weekend, but the match was cancelled. The two teams, though, go head to head in the German Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday evening, and, no doubt, an exciting clash is on the horizon. Die Adler aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin, while die Werderaner want to put an end to their five-game losing run in the Bundesliga.
Considering that Werder Bremen are not regarded as good travellers, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts, who have been producing fine performances in the second half of the season. A man to keep an eye on in the home side will be Serbia international Filip Kostic, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
