Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
All eyes will be on Brentford Community Stadium when Brentford and Fulham face each other in the EFL Cup last 16. The Bees set up a meeting with the Cottagers by beating Southampton and WBA, and they are surely capable of claiming yet another major scalp. Considering that star player Said Benrahma returned to contention at the weekend, we believe that home win should be considered.
Fulham, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season. The Cottagers do not seem to be competitive in the Premier League, and seeing that the team’s main goal is to secure the elite division survival, we are tempted to put our money on the Bees. As always, a man to watch in the away team will be Serbia international Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has been scoring goals for fun ever since he joined the Craven Cottage outfit.
Highlighted Player (Saïd Benrahma):

Said Benrahma is an Algeria international who started his club career at Nice. The pacey winger made his Ligue 1 debut during the 2013/2014 season and after scoring 3 goals in 17 appearances for les Aiglons in the French top flight, he moved to the Championship team Brentford in the summer of 2018.
Said Benrahma was born in Ain Temouchent, Algeria on August 10, 1995 and it has to be noted that he played for the likes of Angers, Gazelec Ajaccio and Chateauroux on loan before joining the Griffin Park outfit. The Algerian footballer impressed in the 2018/2019 Championship season, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists for his teammates.
His main position is right winger, but he is used as a left winger as well. Speaking of his international career, Said Benrahma made his debut for the Algeria national team on October 13, 2015 in a 1-0 win over Senegal.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):

Fulham are a club from London that play in the Premier League. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition, but managed to return in season 2018/2019.
Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight.
Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League.
The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
