Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
Manchester City will be aiming to build on the Premier League win over Wolverhampton when they host Bournemouth at their Etihad Stadium in the EFL Cup last 32. The Citizens kicked off the new EPL campaign in great manner, but keep in mind that they will be without attacking duo Aguero – Jesus in Thursday’s football match. As a result, England rising star Liam Delap is likely to lead the line for the hosts.
Both Ilkay Gundogan and Aymeric Laporte are out of contention as well after the duo was tested positive for coronavirus. The Cherries, on the other hand, are on a quest to secure a quick return to the English elite division. Bournemouth aim to claim a major scalp in the EFL Cup, but spoiling Man City’s party at Etihad Stadium is easier said than done. Seeing that key attacker Joshua King is sidelined with injury, home win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Raheem Sterling):

Raheem Sterling is an English professional footballer plays for Manchester City in the Premier League. The winger who is known for his lightning pace and dribbling ability started his youth career as a five-year-old playing for Alpha and Omega. In 2003, he joined QPR's youth academy and spent seven years with them before signing for Liverpool in 2010.
At Liverpool, Sterling made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute in a league match against Wigan Athletic on the 24th of March, 2012. He went on to make over 120 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists in the process. In August 2015, Sterling joined Manchester City on a transfer worth 49 million pounds, which made the most expensive English footballer at the time.
Since signing for the Citizens, Sterling has enjoyed a trophy-laden career winning every English domestic trophy available and has molded himself into one of the best players in the league. Sterling, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, holds both the English and Jamaican citizenship but chose to represent England at the International stage. The 24-year-old has capped at every youth level and won his first cap for the senior team on the 14th of November, 2012. He has since featured 53 times for the Three Lions.
Highlighted Team (Bournemouth):

Bournemouth are a professional football club that was formed back in 1890. The Cherries secured promotion to the Premier League in the 2015/2016 season, with the team making it to the English top flight for the first time ever.
Bournemouth play their home games at Dean Court and the capacity of the stadium is 11,469.
The Cherries enjoyed a very successful season on their Premier League debut, with the team beating the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in the national championship. Glenn Murray scored the winner for Bournemouth in the 1-0 win over the capital club at Stamford Bridge and that is probably the greatest victory in the club’s history.
Bournemouth have been participating in the FA Cup since 1913, but they have yet to win the trophy in the prestigious competition. It has to be noted that the club’s original name Boscombe Athletic Football Club was changed to Bournemouth back in 1923 as the club owners wanted the Cherries to be more representative of the district.
