Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Reims will be aiming to put an end to their four-game winless run in the Ligue 1 when they welcome Bordeaux at their Stade Auguste-Delaune II on Matchday 15. Reims do not seem to be on top of their game at the moment, but they are still sitting in the top half of the standings. Seeing that the hosts will, as before, rely on their rock-solid defence against Bordeaux, a low-scoring game is on the cards.
Les Girondins, on the other hand, proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Monaco, with the team climbing to the fourth position in the standings. However, Bordeaux often struggle on the travels, and we do not believe that they are capable of picking up all three points from the Stade Auguste-Delaune II clash. A close encounter is on the cards, and we are tempted to put our money on draw.

Highlighted Player (Moussa Doumbia):

A Malian midfielder Moussa Doumbia has been with Russian side FK Rostov since 2014. The 22-year-old powerful midfielder started his career with Real Bamako in 2012. Doumbia spent two years playing for the Scorpions in the Malien Premiere Division, the top rank in the country. Russian side recognised his talent and made a transfer in 2014 tying Moussa Doumbia on a four-year deal.
During two seasons with Russian Premier League outfit, Doumbia was involved in 31 league matches. In 2015-16 season he contributed to his club’s runners-up finish with two goals of his own. Full-time Mali international made his national team debut in 2014 in a 3-1 victory over China in Shenzen.
His most recent international appearances occurred in September during an empathic 5-2 win over Benin in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. Doumbia went on to score his team’s fifth goal with eleven minutes on the clock rounding off an impressive performance.
Highlighted Team (Bordeaux):

Founded in 1881, Bordeaux are regarded as one of the oldest clubs in France. Les Girondins won their first Ligue 1 trophy in 1950 and 59 years later (2008/2009) they lifted their sixth domestic trophy.
Speaking of the club’s European success, Bordeaux did remarkably well to make it to the Champions League semi-finals in 1985, but despite recording a 2-0 win over star-studded Juventus in the return leg, the French club eventually failed to book their place in the final of the elite competition.
Famous French footballers Alain Giresse and Jean Tigana were part of the team back then and it has to be noted that Giresse is the player who made the most appearances for les Girondins (587). During the nineties Zinedine Zidane, Christophe Dugarry and Bixente Lizarazu played for Bordeaux and, taking everything into account, it is no surprise they are considered one of the most famous French clubs.
Nowadays Les Girondins welcome their rivals at Matmut Atlantique, the stadium which was opened in 2015 and they used to play at Stade Chaban-Delmas in the past.
