Our prediction for this Norway Eliteserien match:
Wednesday’s football game in Stavanger pits together Viking and Sandefjord, the two teams who made a slow start to the season. Viking have collected only one point from possible twelve, meaning that they are desperate to emerge triumphant in the midweek fixture. Bjarne Berntsen’s troops are eager to put an end to their four-game winless run, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Sandefjord.
Even though defender Sondre Bjorshol remains in the recovery room, home win should be considered. Sandefjord, on the other hand, kicked off the season with a 2-1 over Odd, but they quickly suffered a dip in form. Even though Iceland international Emil Palsson returns from suspension, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts this time out as Sandefjord failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to the likes of Stabaek and Haugesund.
Highlighted Team (Viking):

Founded back in 1899, Viking are both one of the oldest and the most successful Norwegian teams. The dark blues won their eight domestic trophy in 1991, but they have not been as successful in the 21st century.
Viking won the Norwegian Cup on five occasions (1953, 1959, 1979, 1989, 2001) and knocking Chelsea out of the UEFA Cup during the 2002/2003 season is considered the team’s best achievement in European competitions.
