Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
After suffering a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to Famalicao, Porto will be looking to regain top position in the standings when they take on Maritimo on Wednesday evening. The Dragons are level on points with their bitter rivals Benfica ahead of Matchday 26, and we predict that they will go all guns blazing at Maritimo. Even though the match will be played behind closed doors, we believe that Porto are going to return to winning ways in the Primeira Liga.
Maritimo, on the other hand, picked up only one point in total from the previous four league fixtures. Jose Gomes’ troops have been dropping the standings week by week, and given the importance of the match for the Dragons, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. In their last meeting at Estadio do Dragao Porto defeated Maritimo 3-0, and the history is going to repeat itself.
