Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Tondela, who were not in action at the weekend, take on Belenenses at Estadio Joao Cardoso in what is expected to be an exciting game. Tondela aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Pacos de Ferreira, and the fact that they defeated Sporting CP in their last home game is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Belenenses. Pedro Ribeiro’s troops are on a three-game losing run on the road in the Primeira Liga, with the team conceding ten goals in total in those encounters.
To make things even worse, Belenenses suffered a 1-0 loss to Chaves in the Taca de Portugal at the weekend. The visitors head into Sunday’s clash with the lack of confidence, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Tondela’s party at Estadio Joao Cardoso. In their last meeting in the Primeira Liga, the two teams played out a 2-2 draw.
