Watford and Barnsley go head to head at Vicarage Road in the Championship round 25. The Hornets continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on travels, with the team eyeing their tenth home win of the process. Watford are after their third consecutive win on home soil, and we predict that they will give fans yet another reason for celebration on Tuesday evening.
Catchcart, Dele-Bashiru, Quina, and Success remain in the recovery room, while Kabasele and Murray are rated doubtful for the midweek clash. The Tykes, on the other hand, failed to find the net in the previous two league fixtures. Barnsley were beaten by Norwich City in their last away game, and even though they have been producing fine displays on the road this season, home win should be considered. In their last meeting at Vicarage Road Watford outclassed Barnsley 3-0.

Joao Pedro played for Atletico Mineiro during his youth career and he made no less than 11 appearances for the club at senior level. The Brazilian footballer, who was born on 9 March, 1992 in Ipatinga, signed a deal with Palermo on 30 August, 2010 and he made his debut for the Sicilian outfit in the Serie A on 17 January, 2011.
He came as a substitute to replace Josip Ilicic in a 3-1 defeat to Cagliari. On 29 January, 2011 he joined Vitoria Guimaraes on loan and on 19 August he was loaned to Penarol of Uruguay. After ending his loan spell with the Uruguayan team, the Brazilian midfielder joined Santos and he played 10 games for the Brazilian team.
On 1 July he signed a contract with Estoril and he moved to Cagliari at the end of the season. Joao Pedro has 11 caps for Brazil U17 and he scored one goal for the national team.

Barnsley are an English club nicknamed the Tykes. The club was founded in 1887 and it has to be noted that they spend more seasons in the Championship than any other club in the history. The Tykes played in the Sheffield and District League from 1890, but in 1895 they were part of the Midland League. Barnsley play their home games at Oakwell, the stadium that was built in 1887.
The capacity of the stadium is 23,009 and it was opened back in 1888, just one year after the club’s foundation. The Tykes made it to the FA Cup final in 1910, but Newcastle United proved to be a big catch for the Oakwell outfit in the title game.
Nonetheless, Barnsley won the FA cup trophy in 1912 and that is considered the club’s biggest success. Barnsley defeated West Bromwich Albion in the two-legged tie (0-0, 1-0) to clinch the prestigious trophy for the first and only time in their history.
