Cercle Brugge quickly bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Antwerp, with the team beating Kotrtijk on the road at the weekend. The Groen en Zwart, though, are on a seven-game losing run on home soil in the Belgian top flight, which is the main reason why home win should not be considered.
Following his positive test for coronavirus, Van Damme is rated doubtful for the game, while all Deuro, Velkovski, and Decostere are likely to miss the game with injuries. Club Brugge, on the other hand, will be without Croatia international Mitrovic in the local derby. The reigning champions proved their worth in a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Genk, and given their five-match winning run in the Jupiler League, we predict that the visitors are going to pick up all three points from the midweek showdown.

Simon Luc Hildebert Mignolet is a Belgium goalkeeper born on 6 March 1988 in Sint-Truiden. He began his career in a club from his hometown, making 100 league appearances for Sint-Truidense before moving to Sunderland in 2010.
Mignolet would go on to spent next four years at the Stadium of Light, making 90 Premier League appearances. As one of world’s most talented goalkeepers, the Belgium international signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2013, and he has since been the club’s first choice goalkeeper. Performing admirably most of the time, but also committing cheap mistakes at times, Mignolet has yet to win over the Liverpool fans, but remains highly regarded in his native country.
