Our prediction for this DFB Pokal match:
A spot in the German Cup quarter-finals will be at stake when Stuttgart and Borussia M’gladbach face each other at Mercedes-Benz Arena. Stuttgart set up a meeting with Borussia M’gladbach by beating Freiburg 1-0, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in Tuesday’s football game. It has to be noted that the likes of Awoudja, Castro, Egloff, and Mola remain in the recovery room for the hosts.
Borussia M’gladbach, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Union Berlin. Die Fohlen have been in a fine form in 2021, but seeing that Stuttgart are tough to beat at home, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Austria international Valentino Lazaro is sidelined with injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away side in the DFB Pokal clash.
