Preston
Blackburn Rovers and Preston take on each other at Ewood Park in the opening match of day 29. Following back-to-back wins over Middlesbrough and Luton, the Riversiders suffered a 1-0 loss to QPR at the weekend. Blackburn aim to move closer to the playoffs berth, and they should take advantage of Preston’s anything but good form. Even though the likes of Ayala, Johnson, Rankin-Costello, Wharton, and Williams are sidelined with injuries, home win should be considered as the Riversiders have turned their Ewood Park into a real fortress.
The Lilywhites, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United in the previous two league fixtures. Since Blackburn are desperate to keep their promotion hopes alive, home win should be considered. The likes of Bauer, Moult, and Rudd miss the Ewood Park clash with injuries.

Born on the 21st Of November, 1989, Ed Upson is an English professional footballer having capped for his country at the under-17 and under-19 levels. The Bury St.Edmonds local signed his first professional contract with youth club Ipswich at the age of 17. In 2008, he joined Stevenage Borough on loan and made his professional debut against Kettering Town in September. This appearance turned out to be his only for the club before he returned to Ipswich.
After making sporadic appearances for the club, in March 2010, Upson left Ipswich once again on a month's loan to join Barnet. He then joined Yeovil Town in what was initially a two-year deal at the start of the 10/11 season. His performances at the club earned him a further two-year extension on his contract. In four years at Yeovil, Upson made 147 appearances, scoring 17 and assisting 25 goals in all competitions.
He also helped them win the 2013 playoff final and secure a place in the EFL Championship for the first time in the club's history. Upson followed up spells with Milwall and Milton Keynes Dons before joining Bristol on the 1st of July, 2018. The 29-year-old plays as a Central midfielder and is known for his vision and passing ability.

Preston North End or Preston were founded in 1880. The Lilywhites or the Invincibles play their home games at Deepdale, the stadium that was built in 1875 and opened three years later.
In 1889 Preston won their first FA Cup trophy and they did well to beat Huddersfield Town in the final of the 1938 FA Cup final. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1889 and 1890 when they won back-to-back domestic trophies (First Division).
Preston have yet to win the League Cup title, but they were runners-up in 1888, 1922, 1937, 1954, 1964.
