Blundell Park will host Saturday’s football game between Grimsby Town and Tranmere Rovers. Grimsby are eager to put an end to their three-game losing run, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against Tranmere. Both Lamy and John-Lewis are pushing for a start for the hosts, who are eager to escape the relegation zone. The Super Whites, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Stevenage.
Tranmere’s thrilling winning run in the League Two came to an end on Tuesday evening, but it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Seeing that the Mariners have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to put our money on the Super Whites, who are eager to climb to automatic promotion places.

Sean Scannell is a winger who plays for Huddersfield Town. The Irish footballer is capable of playing up front as well and he began his senior career at Crystal Palace, before penning a three-year contract with Huddersfield Town.
The English player, who was born in Croydon on 17 September 1990, made 25 outings for Huddersfield in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign, scoring one goal for the club. Sean Scannell has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. Scannell was named Republic of Ireland Young Player of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the Year.
His contract with Huddersfield Town expires on 30 June, 2019 and his highest market value was €1 million back on 8 January, 2009. Sean Scannell started his youth career in Addiscombe Corinthians, but he played for Crystal Palace youth teams as well.

Based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Tranmere Rovers are a professional club that compete in the League One. Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
Tranmere fans see Bolton Wanderers as the club’s main rivals, but they have built a small rivalry with Chester City and Everton as well. The Prenton Park outfit did well to make it to the League Cup final in the 1993/1994 season, but Aston Villa proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
