Sabadell
Buoyed by a 2-1 win at Mallorca, Espanyol will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Sabadell at their RCDE Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Los Periquitos are eager to regain top position in the standings, and seeing that both Almeria and Leganes are breathing down their neck, we are positive that the hosts will go all guns blazing at Sabadell.
Both Ander Iturraspe and Facundo Ferreyra are likely to miss the game with injuries for the hosts, while Jonathan Calleri is a major doubt. The visitors, on the other hand, are fighting hard to survive in the Spanish second tier. Sabadell have been showing signs of improvement of late, but Espanyol will pose a much bigger threat for them than their previous rivals. In the first half of the season Espanyol defeated Sabadell 1-0, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

Diego Lopez is a Spanish goalkeeper who plays for Milan in the Serie A. Lopez was born in Paradela on 3 November, 1981 and he played for Lugo during his youth career. He made two appearances for Lugo at senior level as well, but in 2000 he joined Real Madrid.
The 196-cm-tall shoot-stopper played for both Real Madrid C and Real Madrid B and he made just two appearances for the first team during his first spell at Real Madrid. After spending five seasons at Villarreal (2007-2012) the Spanish goalkeeper played for Sevilla in the 2012/2013 La Liga campaign, but he made no more than eight league appearances for los Sevillanos.
He returned to Real Madrid on January, 2013 and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular, replacing Iker Casillas in the starting XI. However, Real Madrid fans wanted to see Iker between the posts and, as a result, Diego Lopez was forced to join Milan in 2014. Lopez has only one cap for Spain national team.

Sabadell is a professional Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Sabadell were founded back in 1903, with the team securing promotion to la liga for the first time during the World War II (1943/44).
Los Arlequinats have never won the national championship, but they did well to make it to the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) final in 1935. Despite producing fine displays in the process, Sabadell were eventually beaten by Sevilla (0-3) in the title game. Nova Creu Alta is the club’s home ground, with the venue holding up to 11,908 spectators.
The stadium was built on August 20, 1967 by famous Spanish architect Gabriel Bracons Singla. Antonio Vazques (35 goals) is leading Sabadell’s all-time goal-scoring chart. It has to be noted that Sabadell fans have good relations with Bristol Rovers supporters. CD Ebro are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in el Derbi Arlequinado.
