Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Despite taking a two-goal lead at Estadio Benito Villamarin, on Monday, Deportivo Alaves eventually suffered a 3-2 loss to Real Betis. The Basques extended their losing run in La Liga to four games, but bookies still see them as favourites to beat Cadiz at home ground. Both Ely and Abqar are likely to miss the game through injuries. The Yellow Submarine, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Eibar, and they managed to get one thanks to Alvaro Negredo’s goal.
It has to be noted, though, that Eibar goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic failed to convert a penalty after 57 minutes. Anyhow, Alaves and Cadiz seem to be evenly matched at the moment, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Akapo and Quezada are unlikely to feature for the visitors. You should know that under 2.5 goals have been netted in five of the previous seven meetings between the two clubs.
