Brentford
Blackburn Rovers take on Brentford at Ewood Park in the opening match of day 36 of the current Championship campaign. The Riversiders played out a 1-1 draw with Swansea City in a postponed fixture, with the team remaining in the middle of the table. The likes of Armstrong, Ayala, Davenport, Holtby, and Wharton are all sidelined with injuries, while Branthwaite is a major doubt.
The Bees, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Norwich City. Brentford are three points behind automatic promotion places, and seeing that Blackburn Rovers have little to play for in the season finale, away win should be considered. All Baptiste, Goode, Henry, and Jansson are out of contention through injuries. You should bear in mind that over 2.5 goals have been netted in three of the previous four meetings between the two clubs.

Lewis Holtby is a left-footed footballer who plays for Hamburg as a midfielder. Holtby began his senior career at Alemannia Aachen and he played for the club between 2007 and 2009. The German player then joined Schalke in 2009, but he was quickly sent to Bochum on loan.
After ending his loan spells with Bochum and Mainz, he returned to Schalke and it has to be noted that he made 55 goals for the club, scoring 10 goals in Bundesliga. On 28 January, 2013 Holtby signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur, but he was playing below expectations for the Premier League club.
In September, 2014 Holtby joined Hamburg on loan and on 1 July, 2015 he signed a permanent contract with the club. His contract with Hamburg expires on 30 June, 2018. Lewis Holtby has 24 caps for Germany U21 and he made his debut for German national team on 17 November, 2010 in a goalless draw with Sweden. He started the game, but he was substituted by Andre Schurrle after 77 minutes.

Based in London, Brentford compete in the Championship and they were founded in 1898. Griffin Park has been the home ground of the club since 1904 and the capacity of the venue is 12,300.
The Bees have yet to play in the Premier League and it has to be noted that they made it to the FA Cup sixth round on four occasions (1937/1938, 1945/1946,1948/1949, 1988/1989). Brentford played in the League Cup round 4 in the 1982/1983 and 2010/2011 season and that is the club’s biggest success in the competition.
Brentford’s main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and they take on each other in the West London Derby.
