High-flying Sunderland will be looking to extend their winning run in the League One to five games when they take on Lincoln at Stadium of Light. The Black Cats have been producing splendid displays in the second half of the season, and, as a result, they are now seen as one of the main candidates for automatic promotion. Sunderland proved their worth in a 2-0 win over Accrington, and we predict that they will give fans yet another reason for celebration this weekend.
Ross Stewart, who found the net in the midweek triumph, is pushing for a start. Lincoln, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Gillingham, and given their anything but good form in 2021, we are tempted to put our money on the Black Cats. In the first half of the season Sunderland crushed Lincoln 4-0.

The 27-year-old forward began his career at Stratford Town but it was in Walsall that the world took notice of his presence after 27 goals in 99 performances for the club.
He first came to prominence during the 2012/13 season when he was voted the club’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season, but a loan spell at Milton Keynes Dons during his rather unfortunate two-year spell over at Brentford proved crucial for his career.
The total of 20 goals in 44 appearances at Stadium MK was where Wigan Athletic noticed the Northern Ireland man and moved in to sign him on a three year contract for a £1 million fee in 2015. ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire’ was the hit song of the Euro 2016 even though the Northern Ireland striker ended up not getting a chance to make a bow in the tournament.

Lincoln City are one of the oldest clubs competing in the League One as they were founded back in 1884. Lincoln City FC were established as an amateur association, but they turned professional in the 1891/1892 season.
Back then they played at John O’Gaunts stadium, but nowadays Sincil Bank is the club’s home ground. Sincil Bank was opened in 1895, holding up to 10,120 people. The club’s main colours are red, white and black, whilst the Imps wear green shirts and white shorts when playing on the road.
