Valencia
Even though many people expected that Valencia would find it hard to secure the La Liga survival, los Che sit in the middle of the table ahead of Matchday 29. Gracia’s troops did well to beat the doubters wrong, but they should not stop now. Since goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen and defender Eliaquim Mangala should be the only absentees in the away team, we believe that punters can find value in betting on los Che.
The Yellows, on the other hand, aim to escape the danger zone in the La Liga table, but given their display in a 2-1 loss to Villarreal, we are tempted to put our money on Valencia. All Marcos Mauro, Anthony Lozano, and Luismi Quezada are all out of contention through injuries for the home team. It has to be noted that Valencia are undefeated in the previous eight meetings with Cadiz in all competitions.
Highlighted Player (Alvaro Gimenez):
Alvaro Gimenez is a product of Elche football school who plays for fellow La Liga side Cadiz as a forward. Alvaro played for several Spanish clubs in the past, including Elche, Valencia B, Torrellano, Mallorca, Alcorcon, Almeria, before joining Birmingham City in the 2019/20 season.
After scoring only three goals in 24 appearances for the Blues in the Championship, Alvaro Gimenez returned to Spain at the end of the season, signing a deal with La Liga newcomers Cadiz. The Spanish attacker made his debut with the “Yellow Submarine” on October 4, 2020 in a 1-1 draw with Granada. His main position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well.
Gimenez’s preferred foot is left, and his contract with Cadiz should expire on June 30, 2023. The Cadiz attacker has three caps with the Spain U17 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team.

Founded on March 18, 1919, Valencia FC are a Spanish football club that compete in La Liga. Los Che play their home games at Estadio de Mestalla, the stadium which was opened back in May, 1923. The capacity of the venue is 50,000. Seeing that bats are quite common in Valencia, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Bats.
Valencia made it to the Champions League final on two occasions (2000, 2001), but they were beaten in the title games by Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen respectively. The Spanish club, though, did well to win the UEFA Cup title in the 2003/2004 season, with the team beating Marseille in the final of the competition.
A number of top-class footballers were part of the club in the past, with the likes of Pablo Aimar, Ruben Baraja, David Albelda, Santiago Canizares, John Carew and Gaizka Mendieta all playing for the Estadio de Mestalla outfit. Valencia main colors are white and black, whilst they often where orange jerseys and shorts when playing on the travels.
