Tranmere Rovers and Salford City, the two promotion-chasing sides, face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Prenton Park. The Super Whites are on a six-game winless run in the League Two, but despite their poor form, they are still on the right track to book their spot in the playoffs. Considering that veteran midfielder Jay Spearing misses Saturday’s game through suspension, we are not tempted to put our money on the hosts.
The Lions, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the playoffs berth, and despite their anything but brilliant away record, we predict that the visitors will take advantage of Tranmere’s current form. Both Bernard and Hunter are pushing for a start, with Clarke and Coutts likely to drop to the bench. In the previous meeting between the two sides at the venue (EFL Trophy) Salford recorded a 2-0 win over Tranmere.

Liam Feeney is an English footballer who plays for Tranmere Rovers as a midfielder. Born in Hammersmith, England on January 21, 1987, Feeney started his senior career at Hayes, and after scoring eight goals in 46 appearances for the club, he moved to Salisbury City in 2007.
The experienced footballer for several other English clubs as well, and, no doubt, Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth, and Bolton Wanderers are the most notable ones. Nowadays Liam Feeney plays for Tranmere Rovers in the League two on loan from Blackpool. His main position is right wing, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left winger as well.
Feeney made his League Two debut with Tranmere in a 3-0 loss to Cheltenham Town on September 19, 2020. His preferred foot is right, and he has a contract with the Whites until May 2021. The experienced winger has a dual citizenship (England/Jamaica).

Founded during the Second World War (1940) as Salford Central, the League Two side play their home games at Moor Lane. The stadium, which was opened in 1978 and renovated in 2019, can hold up to 5,108 spectators. The Lions wear red jerseys and white shorts when playing in front of home fans, while white and black are the dominant colours of their away kit.
Salford City secured promotion to the League 2 at the end of the 2018/19 as they defeated Flyde 3-0 in the National League play-offs final. The match was played at Wembley Stadium, with Touray, Pergianni, and Dieseruvwe scoring for the Lions.
In the 1977/78 season Salford City won their first Manchester Premier Cup trophy, with the team repeating the success the following year. Bury are seen as the club’s main rivals, but their rivalry with the likes of Oldham and Rochdale is pretty big as well.
