Wednesday’s football match at Signal Iduna Park pits together Borussia Dortmund and Union Berlin. Edin Terzic’s troops came from behind to beat Werder Bremen 4-1 in their last league match, with the team keeping their Champions League hopes alive. Borussia Dortmund are four points behind fourth-place Eintracht Frankfurt, meaning that they face yet another must-win situation against Union Berlin.
The likes of Delaney, Sancho, Witsel, and Zagadou remain on the sidelined with injuries, but Edin Terzic can count on key players for the midweek clash. The capital club, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Stuttgart. Union Berlin, though, produce much better showings at home than on the travels, which is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Erling Haland and Co. All Becker, Awoniyi, Dajaku, Ujah, and Giesselmann are likely to miss the game through injuries.

Marco Reus is a German football player who was born on 31 May, 1989. The pacey attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, started his senior career at Rot Weiss Ahlen and it has to be noted that he made 43 league appearances for the club in lower leagues.
In 2009 he signed a four-year contract with Borussia M’gladbach and he scored his first Bundesliga goal against Mainz on 28 August, 2009. After impressing with the Fohlen in the 2011/2012 Bundesliga campaign, he joined Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season. He has been playing for the Millionaires ever since and he represents Germany on the international stage as well.
However, he was more than unfortunate to miss the 2014 FIFA World Cup with injury when Joachim Low’s team lifted the prestigious trophy. To make things even worse for Marco Reus, he was forced to withdraw from the Germany Euro 2016 squad as well (injury). The German ace has a contract with Borussia Dortmund which expires on 30 June, 2019.

Union Berlin are a German football club originally founded back in 1906. Die Eisernen play home games at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei which can hold up to 22,012 spectators. Union Berlin’s home kit is red, with the team wearing white shirts and white shorts on the travels.
Union Berlin finished the 1923 domestic campaign as runners-up, with the team suffering a 3-0 loss to Hamburger SV in the title game. Speaking of the club’s biggest success in the German Cup, die Eisernen made it to the final of the competition in the 2000/2001 season. Schalke, though, proved to be a big catch for Union Berlin in the decider, with Jorg Bohme scoring a brace for die Knappen (2-0).
