The Red Robins aim to retain their spot in the playoffs berth, and they head into the match following a thrilling 6-0 win over Plymouth. The Posh, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Gillingham, but despite the defeat, they moved one step closer towards automatic promotion. Due to a hunger for a first-team football Marcus Maddison returns to England in the summer of 2013, signing a contract with Conference Premier club Gateshead. The 180-cm tall footballer scored 13 goals in 34 appearances for the club before joining Peterborough United in 2014.
Maddison has established himself as a first-team regular at Peterborough and he is widely expected to play an important role in the London Road Stadium outfit in the 2019/2020 League One season. The English footballer, who is capable of playing as both winger and attacking midfielder, was born in Durham on September 26, 1993.
