After dropping two points in a 2-2 draw with Hull City, Sunderland’s automatic promotion chances are reduced to minimum. The Black Cats are seven points behind top two, but the hope dies last. Sunderland will surely go for a win in Saturday’s clash against Accrington, who aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive. Both Jordan Willis and Tom Flanagan are likely to miss the game with injuries for the home team.
The Stanley, on the other hand, picked up vital three points from the Doncaster Rovers clash, with team moving closer to the playoffs berth. Accrington are five points behind top six, and seeing that they are likely to go for a win in the Stadium of Light showdown as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. It has to be noted that Accrington boss John Coleman should have a full squad to choose from.

Wighan Athletic striker Will Grigg became a viral sensation during the European Championship in France but the chances are any avid football fan will have been well aware of his goalscoring exploits even before 2016. The total of 20 goals in 44 appearances at Stadium MK was where Wigan Athletic noticed the Northern Ireland man and moved in to sign him on a three year contract for a £1 million fee in 2015. ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire’ was the hit song of the Euro 2016 even though the Northern Ireland striker ended up not getting a chance to make a bow in the tournament.

Founded back in 1891 and reformed in 1968, Accrington Stanley are an English football club that compete in the League One. The original team competed in the Football League from 1921 to 1962, spending the last four seasons in Lancashire Combination.
The Accy are well known for their red home kit, whilst they wear sky blue shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The League One side play their home games at Crown Ground, the stadium which can hold up to 5,450 spectators (3,100 seated). Accrington have been playing at Crown Ground since 1970.
Listed as the all-time favourite player amongst fans, Chris Grimshaw is one of the most famous Accrington Stanley footballers.
