Valley Parade will host Tuesday’s football game between Bradford City and Tranmere Rovers, the two teams who are eyeing promotion to the League One. Bradford aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Crawley and Harrogate, and a win over Tranmere will see the Bantams keep their promotion hopes alive. Andy Cook, who found the net in the 2-1 loss at Harrogate, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Super Whites aim to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive, and seeing that they will go for a win in the midweek clash as well, both teams to score betting option should be considered. In the first half of the season Bradford City defeated Tranmere Rovers thanks to Lee Novak’s goal, but a high-scoring affair is on the cards at Valley Parade. The Super Whites boss Keith Hill is likely to stick to the 4-1-4-1 formation.

Born in Cork, the Republic of Ireland on October 25, 1992, Anthony O’Connor is a professional footballer who plays for Bradford City as a defender. His primary position is a centre-back, but he is used as both right-back and defensive midfielder as well.
The Irish footballer is a product of the Blackburn Rovers football academy, but he did not see any game action with the Riversiders at senior level. After ending his loan spells with the likes of Burton Albion, Torquay United, and Plymouth Argyle, Anthony O’Connor signed a permanent deal with the Pilgrims in 2015. At the end of the 2014/2015 season, O’Connor returned to Burton, signing a two-year contract with the Brewers.
In the summer of 2016, he moved to Scotland Premier League club Aberdeen where he scored five goals in 61 league appearances. In June 2018 he joined League Two side Bradford City. It has to be noted that Anthony O’Connor has eight caps with the Republic of Ireland U21 team.

Based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Tranmere Rovers are a professional club that compete in the League One. Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
Tranmere fans see Bolton Wanderers as the club’s main rivals, but they have built a small rivalry with Chester City and Everton as well. The Prenton Park outfit did well to make it to the League Cup final in the 1993/1994 season, but Aston Villa proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
