After suffering a heart-breaking 2-0 loss to Barrow in midweek, Forest Green will be looking to keep their playoffs hopes alive when they take on Tranmere Rovers in the League Two round 45. The Green Army have been struggling in front of goal of late, but Saturday’s game could be the turning point for the playoffs-chasing side. It has to be noted that Forest Green are after their tenth home win of the season.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, aim to move closer to automatic promotion places, and seeing that they will go for a win in the New Lawn clash as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. After making 35 appearances for the Shots in the league, Dom Bernard joined Forest Green in the summer of 2019. He made his debut with the Green Army against Oldham Athletic on the opening day of the 2019/2020 season. Bernard, who quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Forest Green, has one cap with the Republic of Ireland U18 team while making two appearances with the U17 team.
He was born in Gloucester, England on March 29, 1997, and he wears the number 3 shirt at Forest Green. His main position is right back, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a centre-back as well.
