Cambridge United will look to secure automatic promotion to the League One when they face Grimsby Town at Abbey Stadium. The Yellows experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-4 loss to Harrogate, but a win over Grimsby will see them secure a top-three finish. Top scorer Paul Mullin, who has netted 31 goals in the League Two this season, will be the man to watch in the home team.
The Mariners, on the other hand, failed to secure the League Two survival despite beating Port Vale at home ground. Anyhow, Cambridge United want this win more than Grimsby Town, and we predict that the promotion-chasing hosts are going to pick up vital three points from Saturday’s clash. In the first half of the season Cambridge United defeated Grimsby Town 2-1, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.
