Oldham Athletic’s pride will be at stake when they take on playoffs-chasing Forest Green on the last day of the season. The Latics failed to impress in back-to-back defeats to Grimsby Town and Mansfield Town, and seeing that Forest Green do not suit them, home win should not be considered. Oldham failed to win the Green army in the previous five meetings between the two teams, and seeing that the hosts head into Saturday’s clash with the lack of motivation, home win should not be considered.
Forest Green, on the other hand, are determined to book their place in the playoffs. The Green army want this win more than the Latics, and even though midfielder Ebou Adams is banned for the match, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. In the first half of the season Forest Green recorded a thrilling 4-3 win over Oldham Athletic.

Conor McAleny is a product of Everton youth academy, joining the club from Merseyside in 2003 at the age of 11. Despite the fact that his main position is centre-forward, McAleny is used as both second striker and left winger as well. McAleny did spend his youth career at Goodison Park, but it has to be noted that he made no more than two appearances for the Toffees at senior level.

Conor McAleny played for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Brentford, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Oxford United before signing a deal with Fleetwood Town.
The right-footed striker spent the second half of the 2018/2019 season on loan at Kilmarnock, scoring 3 goals in 11 appearances for the club in the Scottish Premier League.
